A "journey" through the upcoming trade fairs in the sector
Months full of events for design, furniture, and architecture enthusiasts. In Italy, many not-to-be-missed trade fairs are coming up to stay updated on industry trends. Bolzano from January 23 to 26 will host Klimahouse, the international trade fair for energy-efficient building and renovation. This year, there will be a focus on the concept of "smart".
Among the prominent names are Thomas Rau, visionary architect of the circular economy, and Gideon Maasland of MVRDV, one of the designers of the revolutionary Amsterdam Valley district, and Amanda Sturgeon, who in the United States launched a certification protocol for homes that regenerate themselves. As part of Klimahouse, Isa Project is organizing a trip from Florence to attend the event on Friday, January 25th.
Admission to the fair
The program includes guided tours and admission to the fair (both free, upon reservation) for a limited number of architects and designers, offering them the opportunity to participate in the conferences held at the fair. Isa Project aims to provide professionals operating in Tuscany with the chance to visit the fair, especially the stands of its represented companies. This is done to create a network of industry professionals, inform them about new technologies, provide firsthand knowledge of products, and enable participants to network.
Also in January, Homi - The Lifestyle Trade Fair is coming to Rho (Milan) from the 25th to the 28th of the month. It's not just about products, but also about ideas, projects, styles, and different cultures, in a constantly new and diverse encounter that can help operators identify trends for the upcoming season. The product offering is wide and varied, including home accessories and decorations, tableware, fabrics and textiles for the home, scents and fragrances for environments, as well as promotional items, ceremonial and office gifts.
The best furniture proposals
The best furniture proposals will also be featured at Expocasa - Furniture and Home Ideas Exhibition. The event will take place in Turin from March 2nd to 10th, 2019. On this occasion, kitchens, bedrooms, living spaces, bathroom solutions, windows, and conditioning systems, as well as furniture complements, will be exhibited. Visitors will have the chance to discover the proposals of major brands, presented by the best retailers from all over Italy, with the opportunity to purchase directly at the fair.
At Casaidea - the 45th Furniture and Design Show (Rome, from March 23rd to 31st, 2019), there will be furnishing and design solutions for kitchens, bathrooms, outdoor spaces, fixtures, as well as ideas for renovation, furniture complements, curtains, fixtures, and even artisanal crafts.
From March 13th to 16th, in Rho (Milan), it will be time for Made Expo - Milan Architecture Design Building. The main theme this year will be the quality of living, developed through moments of training and informative insights combined with the opportunity to experience the most relevant product innovations firsthand.
Furnishing, designing, and renovating are the central themes of Expo Casa - National Exhibition of Building and Home Furnishings in Bastia Umbra (Perugia), from March 2nd to 10th, 2019. The event will revolve around the title "New humanistic experience - building futures," the third step of the three-year Open Minds project launched in 2017. Key themes of the next edition include answers to multiple questions about how cities and homes of the future will be, the importance of material reuse (with particular reference to plastic), and the humanization of technological development.
