The structure creates a temperate and protected environment throughout the year

It passes through the bioclimatic pergola

Packable and adjustable bioclimatic roofing, retractable and sliding perimeter glass.

Bioclimatic pergolas are true design elements that seamlessly integrate into any building, whether as standalone structures or alongside existing ones, enhancing both their aesthetics and functionality.

Advantages of bioclimatic pergolas

The bioclimatic pergola is nothing more than a pergola that can be installed either in continuity with the building, adjacent to the house, or in any other part of the garden as a standalone structure. The particularity of these innovative pergolas lies in the system of adjustable and/or retractable louvers, which allow for optimal comfort based on weather conditions.

For better ventilation, for example, all louvers can be kept open, while they can be slightly closed to prevent sunlight from causing discomfort. In case of rain, simply close the louvers completely and you can stay sheltered without being forced to go indoors. Upon request, it is possible to build pergolas capable of supporting snow load, a system recommended especially for public premises or mountain structures. Additionally, the bioclimatic pergola can be equipped with sliding or retractable glass side panels.

Sun protection and/or mosquito nets

These latter, being without vertical profiles, maintain their transparency when closed. Pergolas have the advantage of being able to be equipped with perimeter closures such as roller blinds for sun protection and/or mosquito nets. Both solutions can be motorized for ease of use and be linked to wind and sun protection systems, becoming real additional spaces of the house, as closed and heatable environments. A slight opening of the slats can create the so-called "chimney effect," allowing for a pleasant stay even when the weather is particularly sultry.

Technical features of bioclimatic pergolas

The main features of the pergolas recommended by the Isaproject studio in Florence are entirely made of thick aluminum, can span up to 6 meters, with only two side pillars and a depth of 5 meters. The completely smooth lamella, unlike others on the market, facilitates periodic cleaning and prevents dirt and foliage from accumulating between the blades when closed, spilling onto the furniture below when opened. This is especially important for restaurants or public places. "Thanks to the fixing system we use," explains Salvatore Usella, owner of Isaproject, "all pergolas are free of visible screws." Isaproject offers architects and designers a wide range of products to design and create solar shading solutions in any space and environment. The technical office of Isaproject is indeed able to design and realize any type of structure in a personalized way, based on the needs of the clientele and the available spaces.
