A 360-degree view of the world of efficient homes and construction according to sustainability criteria. This was the perspective offered to visitors at the 2019 edition of Klimahouse, the national reference fair for alternative building, which took place a few days ago in Bolzano. On this occasion, Isa Project traveled from Florence to the fair with a selected group of architects and designers, offering them the opportunity to participate in conferences, network, learn about innovative technologies, with particular attention to current regulations on energy efficiency. The staff of Isa Project shares their experience, how the project was born, its objectives, and the feedback obtained.

How did the idea of bringing professionals to Klimahouse come about?

<< The idea was born from the desire to make our reality known, our products, and especially to inform professionals about the new technologies related to energy efficiency in the construction field. All of this by allowing them to get hands-on experience with the products and introducing them to the companies we represent. This is done in a context where attention is focused on issues we consider important and that we would like to convey and share with those who work with us. The concept of a 'climate house,' for example, involves significant innovation in construction, designed with the goal of minimizing consumption and paying attention to human health. Furthermore, we organized this business trip to create a network of architects and designers in the area, to establish relationships with them and allow them to exchange opinions and ideas, thus promoting networking. >>

What was the response of the professionals?

How did the initiative go?

<< The response was very positive. The invitations were enthusiastically accepted, and some architect colleagues who were invited spontaneously requested to participate, with many expressing the desire to be contacted for future initiatives. >>

What stood out the most?

<< As for the initiative, it was the engagement of the participants, their interest in the topics, and the atmosphere of sharing that developed within the group. Regarding the fair, one of the most outstanding solutions was the technological innovation of the Roverplastik VMC (Mechanical Controlled Ventilation) monoblock, capable of constantly and intelligently renewing the air inside the home. This technology allows for proper air exchange without the need to open windows, reducing heat loss and resulting in energy savings and increased property value. Additionally, its placement inside the window opening provides a more cost-effective solution and less invasive maintenance compared to centralized mechanical controlled ventilation. VMC can also be applied to select windows, such as in bedrooms and bathrooms, where air exchange issues, such as mold, humidity, and stale air, are often encountered. >>
